Personalizing Your Fantasy Football Team

If you're going to play fantasy football, you may as well have fun with it, right? The Owner → Setup page has two parts: settings for the selected league only, and settings for all your leagues.

For the Selected League

1. Team name: name your team whatever you wish. Nothing X-rated, please, though suggestive names are all part of the fun.
2. Co-owner: invite your best friend to help manage the team. Enter their DataForce account name, and they can make all the same decisions you do: setting lineups, proposing and accepting trades, and bidding on waivers. Be careful; they might bench your star quarterback for some upstart wannabe.
3. Franchise icon: upload a square PNG, GIF or JPEG (under 100KB) of your poodle, or build one with our logo builder. It displays next to your team during drafts and throughout the site.
4. Hide league: shows the league in shadow on various pages and removes it from the mobile All My Teams list.

For All Your Leagues

1. My handle: replace your initials with a custom handle on the Rosters page.
2. Projections and player links: choose the projections used to estimate points on the Lineup and Matchup pages, and which analysis site opens when you click a player's name. More projection sources are available by subscribing through The Wonk, DataForce's player analysis tool.
3. Alarm sound: play a gentle ring when the alarm bell appears to tell you an action is needed.
4. Helpful roster moves: every Tuesday evening, starters who will not play that week (bye, ruled out, or IR) are swapped for your best available bench player, and a starter who is playing is replaced if a bench player is projected to score at least 6 more points. You'll get an email listing every change. Turning off the email also turns off this feature.
5. Notifications: choose exactly which league actions (trade offers, draft picks, waiver results and more) you're told about by email, and for key events by text message or push notification too. For texts, list your phone number on your My Account page.
6. Privacy: decide whether to make your email address public and whether other owners can reply directly to your messages.

It's all part of the fun of owning a team.
